I had a number of photos of the beaver in the water, but
I wanted to get a full body shot of the beaver.
We stayed a little later into the evening, and captured him on land chewing a tree while standing.
As it was getting darker, we were able to identify his location by listening for the chewing,
which is audible across the canal. My husband and I were thrilled to see his whole body and to get a good look at that tail!
